Holding (repelling, reeling and rappelling)
holding (rappeling) was a performance in actions at Convergence, a 3 day festival and wedding celebration. The festival was co-curated by Live Art Ireland and Bbeyond, hosted at
Milford House in Tipperary, Ireland.
stonestreet was met by the audience beneath the canopy of a tall tree on the grounds of the 16th century estate. There, they lay beneath a block of ice, formed on the end of a chain, which dripped down into their mouth.
Other actions in the tryptic included stonestreet carrying a weight from the sash windows around a field that is in the process of being rewilded and stonestreet reaching and leaning out from a tree they are connected to by a bungee cord.
