The cold was setting in. You collected conkers on the way, or at some point that day. Ready for an evening in a warehouse. After the words. And the dancing
A triptych of action.

It felt like reaching for something. Reaching to fill the space. To connect through salt and wax. It was all a balancing act.

A rock held in the mouth.
Salt between the palms.
I suck my fingers as you pierce your lips.

You stepped away as we drew close, before it ended in tears. A cry of relief. Held, together.
